Teacher remains the authority
AI suggestions are drafts
Private teacher workspace
Privacy and data-control first

MyScienceHOD is designed to support teachers, HODs, and school departments with lesson resources, assessment workflows, marking support, remedial recommendations, and learning insights. This policy explains how your private workspace data is handled, and what is different about the shared question bank and any future formally authorised school-processing workflow.
In the current Beta positioning, MyScienceHOD starts with Post-Marking Intelligence for Science teachers and HODs. AI suggestions are drafts, teachers approve final judgement, and only final teacher-approved records can feed post-marking intelligence.
During Beta, teachers may use their own class lists, assignments, and marking records inside their private, sign-in-protected workspace. Do not include NRIC/FIN, DOB, mobile numbers, or other personal identifiers in uploads.
Uploaded materials stay inside your workspace. They are never added to the shared question bank without your separate, opt-in permission, and you can request deletion of your data if you stop using the app.
Software that reads handwritten answer scripts is still being evaluated on fictional or redacted materials; sample scripts are provided for that step of the workflow.
A future school-processing workflow would require formal school approval or authorisation, school-approved anonymisation or identifiers, role-based access controls, retention/deletion controls, and documented governance expectations.
Authorised data would be used only to provide MyScienceHOD teaching features, including teacher dashboards, assessment analytics, marking support, remedial recommendations, student learning insights, and classroom resource generation.
Class and student data is intended to remain private to the teacher's account and authorised school workspace. It is not shown to unrelated teachers or other schools.
Department and HOD views are designed around authorised school workspace access and should be used according to the school's own data governance expectations.
HOD views are for curriculum support, moderation, resource planning, and department coordination. They are not for teacher ranking, appraisal, punishment, or surveillance. Private teacher notes and private action flags remain private unless intentionally shared.
Sample data (such as Demo Student 01 and Demo Class) is available if you want to explore the workflow before adding your own materials. If you prefer to keep names out of the app entirely, fictional labels work fine.
MyScienceHOD is designed to support compliance with Singapore PDPA obligations, but this statement is not a substitute for legal advice or school approval.
Teachers may request deletion of uploaded beta trial data from their workspace, beta workspace data, or account-related app data.
Requests are reviewed and processed safely to avoid removing shared school, curriculum, question bank, public teaching resource, or other teachers' records.
Once approved and processed, teacher-owned uploaded trial data will be deleted or anonymised where safe. A minimal audit trail may be retained for security and operational accountability.
If a teacher or school decides not to continue after beta testing, uploaded trial data will be deleted or anonymised according to the platform's retention policy, unless retention is required for legitimate legal, security, or operational reasons.
MyScienceHOD uses account-based access controls and school workspace separation to reduce unauthorised access. Access to uploaded data is limited according to role, account, and workspace permissions.
Educators should still avoid uploading data that their school policy does not permit to be processed in a third-party teaching platform.
