MyScienceHOD is designed to support teachers, HODs, and school departments with lesson resources, assessment workflows, marking support, remedial recommendations, and learning insights. This policy explains how your private workspace data is handled, and what is different about the shared question bank and any future formally authorised school-processing workflow.
In the founding teacher trial, verified MOE teachers can add their own classes, assessment papers, results and teaching plans. AI suggestions are drafts, and teachers make the final decision.
Your workspace is sign-in protected and linked to your verified school. Do not enter NRIC or FIN numbers, dates of birth, home contact details, medical information or confidential school files.
Private assessment uploads are not added to the shared question bank. Sharing a teaching resource is a separate action, and you should share only material you are allowed to share. Teachers may request deletion of trial data.
Uploading real marked pupil-script images and automatic handwriting reading are not open in the founding trial. Those tools continue to use fictional or approved test materials.
School-wide leadership views and any future real marked-script processing require separate role or school approval, access controls, retention and deletion controls, and documented governance expectations.
Approved data is used only to provide MyScienceHOD teaching features such as assessment review, marking support, remedial planning and class insights.
Teachers are limited to their own classes. Approved HOD and Level Head users can see school-scoped patterns. Data is not shown to unrelated schools.
Department and HOD views are designed around authorised school workspace access and should be used according to the school's own data governance expectations.
HOD views are for curriculum support, moderation, resource planning, and department coordination. They are not for teacher ranking, appraisal, punishment, or surveillance. Private teacher notes and private action flags remain private unless intentionally shared.
The public sample uses supplied fictional people, classes and answers. Your verified teacher workspace is the separate place to use your own teaching work.
MyScienceHOD is designed to support compliance with Singapore PDPA obligations, but this statement is not a substitute for legal advice or school approval.
Some teacher, HOD or school-leader outreach links may include an opaque campaign code, intended audience and email-sequence stage. MyScienceHOD records the landing page and whether the supplied public demonstration was started or completed.
These campaign events do not contain pupil data, school names, contact details or answer content. The public journey does not use campaign cookies, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. A valid campaign reference is held only for the current browser session.
If you submit a contact or school-interest form, the basic contact details you enter are stored separately from anonymous journey events.
Teachers may request deletion of uploaded trial data, teacher-owned workspace records or account-related app data.
Requests are reviewed and processed safely to avoid removing shared school, curriculum, question bank, public teaching resource, or other teachers' records.
Once approved and processed, teacher-owned trial records will be deleted or anonymised where safe. A minimal audit trail may be retained for security and operational accountability.
If a teacher decides not to continue, trial records will be deleted or anonymised according to the platform's retention policy, unless retention is required for legitimate legal, security, or operational reasons.
MyScienceHOD uses account-based access controls and school workspace separation to reduce unauthorised access. Access to uploaded data is limited according to role, account, and workspace permissions.
Highly sensitive personal details, confidential school files and real marked pupil-script images are not permitted in the founding trial.
